Returns & Refunds

This policy applies to purchases from KAEL through kjindustries.in, operated by K.J Advanced Energies Private Limited. It explains our voluntary cancellation terms and how we address incorrect, damaged or defective deliveries. It does not reduce rights provided by applicable Indian consumer law.
1. Cancellation before dispatch
Contact us as soon as possible with your order number if you wish to cancel. We will review the request and confirm whether the order can be stopped before dispatch or any specifically agreed customization or installation work begins. A cancellation is effective only once confirmed by our team. Any applicable non-refundable charge must have been lawfully disclosed and agreed in advance.
2. Change of mind after delivery
Because lithium batteries and inverters are specialized electrical products, we do not ordinarily accept voluntary change-of-mind returns after delivery. This does not apply where the product is defective, not as described, damaged on delivery, incorrectly supplied, or where a statutory refund or other remedy is required.
3. Incorrect, damaged or defective products
If you receive the wrong item, notice transit damage or believe a product is defective, contact us promptly, ideally with your order number, invoice, serial number, photographs and a description of the issue. We may arrange inspection, troubleshooting, service or safe collection where appropriate. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the remedy may include repair, replacement, refund or another legally appropriate resolution. Our repair-only manufacturer warranty does not override mandatory consumer remedies.
4. How approved refunds are processed
After a refund has been approved, we will confirm the amount and processing details. Online-payment refunds are generally initiated to the original payment source through the payment provider where supported. Cash-on-delivery refunds may require verified bank details. Actual credit time depends on the payment method, payment provider and receiving bank; we will provide an update if processing is delayed.
5. Return transportation and product safety
Do not ship a lithium battery independently without instructions from KAEL: lithium batteries require appropriate transport handling and may be subject to special shipping restrictions. If return or collection is required, we will provide instructions and explain any agreed costs. Where goods are defective, incorrect or otherwise subject to a statutory remedy, costs will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
