These Terms & Conditions govern purchases from kjindustries.in, operated under the KAEL brand by K.J Advanced Energies Private Limited, F-67, Phase VII, Focal Point, Ludhiana, Punjab, India (“Company”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms applicable to that order, subject to your rights under Indian law.
1. Products and information
We supply lithium battery systems, inverter products and related accessories. Product specifications, available configurations, warranty periods, prices and included accessories are stated on the relevant product page and invoice. Images may be illustrative. Backup duration, range, charging time and product life depend on load, operating conditions, configuration and proper use; estimated or comparative claims are not unconditional guarantees.
2. Service area and order acceptance
Online fulfilment is currently limited to serviceable addresses in Ludhiana. Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase. We may verify delivery eligibility, availability, pricing and payment before accepting an order. If we cannot fulfil an accepted payment, we will communicate the issue and arrange a refund or other legally appropriate remedy.
3. Prices, taxes and payment
Prices and applicable tax treatment are displayed at checkout or on the invoice. Any shipping, installation or other additional charges must be disclosed before the order is confirmed. Available payment methods may include Cashfree-supported online payments and cash on delivery, where offered. An order is not considered paid until payment confirmation is received. We may take reasonable steps to validate suspicious or incomplete orders.
4. Delivery and installation
Delivery estimates are communicated during order confirmation or separately by our team and may vary with stock, address accessibility and scheduling. Installation, commissioning, removal of old equipment or electrical work are included only if expressly stated in the product offer or order confirmation. Customers must provide a safe, accessible installation location and suitable compatible electrical equipment.
5. Safe use and compatibility
Follow the user manual, voltage and current limits, ventilation, cable sizing, charger and inverter compatibility guidance, and all provided safety instructions. Do not open, modify, short-circuit, immerse, crush or bypass protection systems. Installation and electrical work should be performed by a competent person. Contact us before connecting a retrofit battery to an incompatible or unfamiliar inverter or charger.
6. Cancellations, returns and refunds
Our Cancellation & Refund Policy explains voluntary cancellation eligibility and the process for receiving an incorrect, damaged or defective product. Nothing in our policies limits remedies that customers are entitled to under applicable consumer law.
7. Warranties
KAEL’s manufacturer warranty is described in our Warranty Policy and the applicable invoice or warranty documentation. In general, eligible retrofit lithium batteries carry a 5-year repair warranty; integrated lithium batteries in eligible 1100VA and 2500VA inverter products carry a 3-year repair warranty, while the inverter electronics carry a 2-year repair warranty. The warranty is repair-based, subject to its terms, and additional statutory rights remain unaffected.
8. Limitation of responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses arising solely from misuse, incompatible installation, unauthorized modifications or events beyond our reasonable control. We do not exclude liability or consumer remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Promotions and website use
Offers are subject to their stated validity, stock and eligibility conditions. Unauthorized use of the website, attempts to bypass its security, or misuse of customer information are prohibited. Website text, images and branding are owned by the Company or their respective rights holders.
